Gunadarma University

         I will explain in simple terms what the university. The definition of a university is an institution of higher education established and used to direct the Indonesian humans become professionals ready to work, education and research atapun power. University consists of various faculty. Faculty is part of a university that educates students in a particular field (eg, fak.kedokteran, fa. Economics, etc.). In a faculty taught students about the field that has been in dedicated course with faculty therein. And the Faculty of Education at the University is very different from high school. At the University teaching system known as SKS (mostly). What is a Credit? SKS stands for Semester Credit System, a simple if the course is worth 2 credits means the lesson is worth 2 contact hours of lectures and 2 hours of independent study for the student. The university also made payments based on the amount of credits that we take. Determination of the value that is in the university system is A, B, C, D, E.
       Each value depends on the policies of the respective University / Faculty. Gunadarma was first established on August 7, 1981 under the name of Computer Science Education Program (PPIK). At that time, PPIK (Gunadarma) only has 91 students. A day later, on July 10, 1984, through Decree Gunadarma Education Foundation, officially inaugurated Gunadarma name into the high school into High School Computer Gunadarma (STKG). College of Computer Gunadarma (STKG) has developed quite rapidly in the education program, then on October 5, 1985, the high school expressed Registered status with a new name School of Information Management and Computer Gunadarma (STMIK Gunadarma).
Together with that status, this high sdekolah raising two majors, namely Management Information (MI) and Computer Engineering (TK). With increasing development, STMIK Gunadarma open a new department, namely Informatics. With continuing education programs, on January 13, 1990, establishing Gunadarma Gunadarma School of Economics (STIE Gunadarma) with a major in Management and Accounting. Regular education program and students are educated, make a successful Gunadarma confirmed as Gunadarma University on April 3, 1996. Beneath the shade, there are a number of Faculty of Faculty of Computer Science, Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Faculty of Psychology , and the Faculty of Letters. Gunadarma University has distinctive features on the logo and emblem which also has a specific meaning of these symbols, among them:Stems upright torch symbolizes perseverance to donate dharma and devotion to Nusa Nation.
